Karl Schmid started K.S. Arms Ltd in 1991 as a gunsmithing and custom rifle shop. Karl’s training and experience in tool and die making quickly also netted him general machining work in the years that followed. His love of shooting, hunting, and firearms has never faded and this influence along with many years of custom building and one off gun repairs has led us to where we are today, manufacturing premium cut-rifled barrels and custom actions.

K.S. Arms Ltd is a proud partner of the Canadian F-Class Rifle Team. We are honored to be the teams official barrel supplier and this relationship has proven itself to be invaluable to us as well, the data and feedback on our barrels from these world class competitors has and will only make our product better.
We work with both local and international series shooters to be able to deliver the best actions and barrels for fast paced PRS shooting. This quickly growing and demanding discipline has driven our action development across all models to new heights and specifically our SA3R, which has been developed directly with competitors to meet their demands, required features, and abuse in all match conditions.
